About me

A compassionate and down-to-earth approach

I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is to help you understand yourself more deeply, recognise patterns and discover choices that feel right for you.

My background

Experience rooted in real-world challenges

My professional background includes working in mental health and crisis teams, as well as supporting people affected by drug and alcohol addiction in my role as a recovery worker.

I have experience working with neurodivergent people, including autistic clients, and with people who have spent time in prison. These roles have given me an understanding of the challenges people can face, including stigma, isolation, difficult life experiences and major transitions.

My approach is non-judgemental, respectful and grounded. I believe that you are the expert on your own life. My role is not to tell you what to do, but to help you understand yourself more deeply, recognise patterns and discover choices that feel right for you.

My approach

Person-centred counselling

I work in a person-centred way, which means our sessions are led by you — your pace, your priorities, your goals.

Non-judgemental

Whatever you bring to the room, you will be met with acceptance and respect — no matter your background or experiences.

Confidential

Everything shared in our sessions stays between us. A safe, private space is the foundation of good counselling.

At your pace

There is no pressure to share more than you are ready to. We go at the speed that feels right for you.

Collaborative

We work together. I bring knowledge and experience; you bring your own wisdom about your life.
